Bill Hay died 6th July 2008 aged 79yrs Edinburgh, Bill died as the result of Neglect from the
Hospital.
Bill was one of 6 children he had 4 sisters and one brother, he particularly idolised his Sister
Dorothy whom he was very close to.
I am Bill's niece and i looked upon him as my second dad, i loved and worshipped him so much
life without him now is hard, but my uncle bill is up there beside my big brother Michael and they
are looking down on us all especially my Mum and taking care of us x

Had a meeting with the hospital board yesterday Bill they could not deny any of the things that went wrong and what you suffered. Although you probably would have got ill at some point in time but it might have been long enough you should still be here with us now and that they did not deny. They were horrified at some of the points we put to them and apologised for everything that went on but no amount of apologies can bring you back, I did what I promised you I would do and had this meeting to let the so called higher archy know exactly what goes on. Nothing can bring you back but maybe just maybe it will save another patient going through what you went through and another family having to watch what you went through and now having to live with it, without you. You were a brother in a million to me watch over Michael and give him a BIG HUG from me LOVE YOUxx

You were so special and should never have died. If it hadn't been for all the mishaps you endured in the hospital, you would still be with us. But I will see this through to the end I promised you I would, and I will . You should never have had to go through all you did, nobody deserved that.
I know that you are with Michael now and you have no more pain and suffering. You were the best brother ever and I will LOVE YOU forever and one day we will be together again. Keep shinning down over us give Michael a BIG HUG LOVE YOU BOTHxx
